Dear all:
I didn't find any articles that are interesting to me. So I just come up with some questions.
Let's talk about this: Why do people like superficial things?
Superficial things appear in our daily lives, and usually, there are too many.
TV programs, newspapers, magazines, movies, gossip, how many of them can truly give us some profound meanings?
If they are not that useful or important, why are our lives flooded with these things?
Here are the questions:
1. In your opinion, why do people like superficial things?
2. Could you give a example (or counter-example) about your own experience?
3. To what extent do you think of yourself as superficial?
4. How much do you think of yourself as a conspicuous consumer?
5. What things will you use to judge somebody before you even know them?
Please feel free to add more questions.
Kevin
